OXFAM POINT OF SALE MEDIA PLAYER CAMPAIGN

The Challenge
Create customer awareness and promote the benefits of purchasing
Oxfam Fairtrade products. This was an integrated new channel launch
for the myeco.tv discover more* campaign.

“Where does Fairtrade coffee come from? and how you can make
a difference when purchasing fair-trade products.

The Process
I designed and built a point of sale in-store media player displaying videos of the origins and craft of individual store products. Shoppers were informed
with video sub-titles and internal graphics to support the key messing on the video display screen.

The Result
An inspiring campaign and user experience, promoting Fairtrade products in a unique and engaging way, allowing users to feel confident and informed when purchasing Fairtrade products.

myeco.tv is a not-for-profit channel I created to help support environment, communities and companies who are making a difference.

The external DVD media player was designed using reclaimed ply-wood which was laser-cut and assembled. A side slot was designed to access the DVD, with smaller holes created at the back of the unit for air-flow and the speakers.

I also designed and printed DL flyers, providing shoppers with further information, including video links to watch videos later in their own time.
